List of Plants Being Painted for Mid Atlantic Native Plants

Painting of a pink camellia
Camellia japonica (camellia) © Karen Ringstrand

This is a list of Mid-Atlantic Native Plants that someone is working on for BAEE's first book project. If a plant is listed more than once, then more than one person is painting that plant.

Regarding duplicates, that is, selecting a plant that someone else is already painting: when we began the project, we did not prohibit duplicates as many painters chose the same plant at the same time. However, the book will contain only one painting of a particular plant because we want as wide a range of plants as possible. Therefore, beginning August 1, 2012, we will not accept any more duplicates.
